Lady Betty is a luxury shepherds hut located on our secluded Dorset Farm.
Named after Adam's eccentric great aunt who loved to have a good time. Situated in a secluded woodland with spectacular countryside views, and a romantic wood fired Swedish bath.
Open to the rafters she is filled with light and space but she is fully insulated, so if you are staying in winter you will be cosy and warm. The heating is electric plus there is a wood burning stove and plenty of fuel if you would like to cosy up in front of a real fire.
There is an electric cooker and hob, a toaster, fridge with freezer compartment and a Nespresso machine with milk frother. There is plentiful vintage china, pots and pans as well as tea, sugar, oil, salt and pepper for your use,
The bathroom is fully plumbed and has a lovely shower, hot towel radiator and an immersion heater providing plentiful piping hot water.
Outside in the wood there is a fire pit BBQ all ready to be lit with blankets to keep you warm while you are sitting around the fire stargazing in our Dark Sky Reserve.
We offer wonderful extras such as feasts, meals, nibbles boxes, breakfast and other goodies.
The map below shows the entrance to Ash Farm.
If you are staying with us please drive on to the Farm and follow the signs for shepherds huts and Freedown House.
The drive is 1.5 miles long and your hut is clearly signposted.
